Hi, I’m Jeremy Smith, founder and lead inspector at Square 1 Home Inspections, LLC.

My journey began in the trades as a plumber, where I spent years working on new construction and remodeling projects. That hands-on experience gave me a deep understanding of how homes are built—from the ground up. I later transitioned into handyman work, expanding my skills across multiple trades.

In 2019, driven by a passion for precision and detail, my wife and I launched Square 1 Home Inspections, LLC. From the beginning, our mission has been to provide thorough, honest, and insightful inspections with a personal touch.

We’re proud to be a family-run business. Our two sons joined us early on, and recently, our daughter and cousin have come aboard as inspectors—bringing fresh energy and the same commitment to excellence. Together, we offer a team you can trust, dedicated to helping homeowners make informed decisions with confidence and peace of mind.
